Ordered hunters chicken instead with side of sautéed mushrooms (NO MUSHROOMS), wanted coliflower cheese (no coliflower cheese) so had chicken wings instead for side,
Went to order Lasagna that comes with salad and garlic bread and wanted a side of onion rings (no onion rings) so had chips.
Had cheesy garlic Bread.
Went back to table to realise partner ordered hunters chicken and that has onion rings on...so Went back to ask about onion rings and they said we will put on garlic bread instead???? Never even told us when we ordered Hunters chicken so if I'd of not said side of onion rings the garlic bread would have just come out with it.
Anyway thought well we will just enjoy what we have ordered.
Both meals came out
Lasagna looks fine.
Hunters chicken however was so so tiny ie just bigger then quarter of tomatoe. Partner asked for it to be changed chef said no.....so we just thought we'd tuck in......CHICKEN VERY DRY, BACON VERY HARD AND BURNT.
We don't normally moan about meals....my lasagna was nice but I even tried that chicken and it was so so dry couldn't really taste the BBQ sauce then I tried the bacon and that was absolutely VILE. And for £9.50 you would expect a lot better.
Will not be returning and sport if my family was suppose to go there Friday with their whole family I had to ring him and unfortunately tell him not to bother. Hopefully Hayloft is better
The staff were busy and it was clean and tidy, but having visited The Nuthall 2 weeks before the food there blew us away.
Great little park for the kids but we did not go there for the playground we wanted good food. So for us it missed the mark.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had the lamb shank which is clearly a ‘microwave in the bag’ preserved till the year 3000. The roast potatoes had clearly been sat under a hot lamp for a significant amount of time and then microwaves as they were leathery. Tender stem broccoli was lovely but the cauliflower cheese was burnt.
I would not eat here again.
