The location is nice.
But the chips part of the kids' menu were way too salty and the beef smelt quite strange though the chef told us it was fine and safe. That's not the smell that allows you to enjoy the food

We love Somerset House. The best Sunday roast in Clifton, hands down. Ely always takes care of us with a smile and good humour, even when we bring our own horseradish (which she then keeps for us!). Or accommodation us on a single table when we needed to add 4 people to our table of 6. Reading this, I’m surprised they’re so nice to us!

Awful tasting nasty overpriced food and expensive. We ordered a small sharing platter of breaded whitebait with aioli, salt and pepper squid, Thai fishcakes and fries with fallafal. The Thai fiscakes were rubbery and looked like little flat discs which can only have come from a freezer bag with no coating or taste. There was 3 small squid and the only food that was decent was the whitebait. The place inside needs a good deep clean, avoid.

Always come here for a Sunday roast. Hands down the best Sunday roast in miles and great value too. Could improve on their veggie options.

this place from the outside doesn't look much but please don't walk by, the food is amazing and the staff are so welcoming. They accommodated for me without question as I've had an operation so can't eat much so we're happy to give me a child's portion which I assure you wasn't that small. The chocolate tart is homemade and so rich and beautiful. Good value for money too. for a kids meal and full meal plus 2 beers and an apple juice and desert it was £44.70. luxurious interior warm and comfortable.

Nice Clifton pub. Very busy at peak times although to be expected considering the location
