Great pub, always four real ales on and invariably one that suits me. Adequate food menu too with cheese rolls or cheese rolls with pickle which complements the ale. Proper rolls too with a decent slab of cheese. If you don't like decent beer and cheese, this is probably not the pub for you.

Five real ales on tap, friendly clientele, welcoming landlord, unpretentious with a pleasant atmosphere. Pub decorated with railway photographs and some memorabilia. No food available other than usual bar snacks and cheese rolls offered with a variety of chutneys. Worth a visit for beer afficionados.

It was quiet for an early Saturday evening. Barman was very friendly and customers were welcoming.

What a lovely, welcoming place.
We popped in whilst on a visit to Salisbury and it happened to be quiz night (Tues @7.30pm). Friendly, locals, good beer, clean and comfortable.
Well worth a visit.

Easily the best friendly feel real ale pub in Salisbury... It's clearly the gem of all pubs, near rail station, nothing better. Music, friendly staff and more importantly great ale. The clientele first class, friendly and great for a social.
