Fox Pond - Pub & Grill

Had the Sunday lunch today.roast beef. it was the best I’ve had in a long time.will be returning soon. Had a really nice waiter called Josh he couldn’t do enough for you. Thank you for a really nice time 😊

My wife and I had a meal at the fox pond on the 6/9/22, have not been here for several years as the food then was not so good. Have to say we were very happy with our meal last night, we will be back soon. One more point- We had our dog with us and had to sit in the bar, and I knew that I would have to go to the bar to order food and drinks, then came Josh- He came to our table and asked us what we wanted which we thought a nice touch. josh was friendly, polite, and funny, a huge asset to the Fox Pond. well done pal..

If I could give Fox Pond more than a 5 star rating I would. Carla and Toni are the heart and soul of the place greeting you with excitement in their eyes and glowing smiles. They’re so attentive to customers needs and are truly the reason I come here! It’s almost like the warm embrace of a long lost friend!

The food and drinks and the atmosphere are incredible and I couldn’t ask for more!
My waitron Toni really did knock my socks off with her brilliant service and her infectious laugh.

Service was a little slow but more than made up for in food and friendliness. Really tasty lunch, we all opted for sandwiches with sides. My steak sandwich was cooked exactly as I requested and was delicious. 4 lunches, 4 glasses of wine, a pint and 2 cokes was £65. Really reasonable! Will definitely be back, in fact we've just booked our next visit while we were in there.

I was delightfully surprised by the Sunday Roast and it was affordable too. Everything about the meal was great, drinks were on point too. The chicken breast was a let down, bit too dry for me.

Our choir went for a Christmas Meal recently - approx 20 of us. The service was excellent! We had our own room and the food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. I couldn't fault it. They couldn't do enough for us.

While hubby was in hospital over Christmas I ate or just had coffee whilst reading a book at this wonderful pub. The meals are superb the atmosphere is low key and relaxing . The staff are very friendly, caring and professional. I would recommend this pub 100%

Visited here today on good recommendations from my colleague, never again will I step foot here. We got seated in a cramp, dark corner and when we asked to move we were told they were busy and couldn’t move us (the restaurant was empty) We ordered the garlic mushrooms and the mushroom & ale pie, that was the only part of our visit that we enjoyed! Piping hot food and presented lovely. Our waiter though was very untidy, untucked shirt and seemed to care more about something on the bar than serving the only customers he had in the pub. Please avoid.
