Absolutely lovely vepy pub, great food, brilaint atmosphere. Very enjoyable lunch experience

Chanced upon this country pub after finding it difficult to get a last minute lunch on a Monday. The food was excellent (fish and chips and a great ploughman’s) and the service great too. We sat outside with the dogs and they even had a barrel of water for the, and gave them treats!

Nice atmosphere, really friendly staff and the food was amazing. Had no problem finishing my food and my partners leftovers 👌

Great food Great service top level pints. The only downside was a strange character with a strange mustache with curly black hair who kept insisting he was from Sheffield. Overall pretty good though

We arrived just in time for a snack stop on our bike ride. Landlord was really friendly and chatty, and kindly refilled our water bottles for us. The fish finger ciabattas were great. More 'chippy style' fish than fish fingers. A really good find.

Popped in for a drink but not food. The Sunday lunch food on other tables looked good and appetising. Heineken 0% was £4.20 so on the steeper side. Roast lunch prices: chicken or beef: £17.95. Duo: £19:95. Small: £12.
Has a bottomless brunch on Saturday. Tapas style food.

Nice outdoor potential but untidy and rubbish not cleared away at top garden. Shame. Oodles of potential and friendly staff. May need a fresh pair of eyes to see what can be improved. Will revisit.

Fantastic service, food and staff. Generous servings, we loved our evening there and will be back soon.

Nice local pub, always a warm atmosphere and friendly service. Dog friendly too. Food is constantly good.
