Probably rated the crown before, but you can't miss visiting this pub/hotel
Excellent atmosphere and fare.
Always enjoy the banter with Clive .
Also, the food here is very good, though you must pre book.

Great local restaurant and pub. Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. The food is very good, huge portions and piping hot. Traditional Sunday roasts, lamb shanks, scampi, various salads etc. Varied starters.
Make room for pudding! Death by chocolate, knickerbocker glory etc. Specials board.
I would highly recommend.

Really friendly pub run by A family Unfortunately they are retiring in August so forget the so if you get the chance to go there before then I would recommend it good food They also accept dogs

Friendly service on "Bike Night" with free sausages and potato wedges! Not the "posh place" it was a few decades ago. I'm told the pie and chips are good, too.

Great place friendly staff & great fresh home cooked food.. would recommend this place my first visit for over two decades would definitely go again, the place has a lot of history was originally a coach house built around 1500, traditional English pub👍

Great food at a good price,great atmosphere & the owners are very friendly.
We be going back again in the near future.

Very good food and plenty of it, but soon to be taken over. Just hope it is not too modernised.
