Always great grub, huge portions and not over priced. Great beer and friendly staff. Treats for the dog etc.

Lovely atmosphere and very welcoming staff made this a welcome stop on the way home from Uckfield. This despite the couple having a domestic right behind us!!

Usual beer choices on offer (Harveys). Great condition but it is a constant frustration shared with all pubs in the area given there are so many other top notch breweries in East Sussex.

Only stopped for a drink but the food looked fab and the restaurant was packed with Christmas revellers. Next time we'll stay for a bite to eat.

We had a wonderful time tonight. We came with our daughter for a evening meal. The waiter was on it and the bar man even came out to check we had enough cutlery instantly when we dropped ours. We cannot fault the food or the service.
The only thing I would say is the Apple streusel has sponge and I normally like one without but that’s personal preference. 5plus stars excellent. Well done guys.

Fantastic food. Staff really looked after us and even expanded the booking from 10 to 12 guests at the last minute. Family loved it, well worth a visit. Thanks Lorraine and tea for making us feel very welcome and looked after.

The interior of the pub is exactly what you would want on a cold Sunday. Additionally, given a genuinely stellar roast, with the option to go 'large' for those with a greater appetite than others! Reasonably priced with kind and courteous service - drove all the way from Brighton to see what all the fuss was about, wasn't disappointed!
