Nice, older style pub. Very Victorian on the inside of the ‘Georgian Lounge’ (only room I was in). Other rooms, upstairs & accommodations were advertised. Local pub for locals by the looks of it as it’s off the beaten path. Lovely tables outside on the river Severn. I’ll bet it’s a gorgeous place for a pint in the summer! Dog friendly, my two enjoyed sprawling out in front on a large black grate with logs burning on a very drizzly grey day. Everyone was friendly to speak to & bar keeper was lovely. Will definitely go back & soon :)

Love sitting out by the river on a sunny day. Nice choice of drinks. Nice inside, with some rooms to stay over too and enjoy the lovely surroundings too it. (No I don't mean the fair!)
Big, quiet rear beer garden too.

This is the best pub in town. The welcome is always so friendly, the beer is kept great, the food is delicious and the views of the river are simply stunning. What an idyllic spot to enjoy a bite and a few beers. I bet most people don't know it's even there and yet it is brilliant - if you haven't tried it yet you really must. I'll be there most weekends through the summer I reckon!

In a lovely location but not at all baby friendly. We came last Saturday and asked for a highchair when ordering our drinks, which we were given. However we went up 5 minutes after to see if we could get some food as it was approaching our babys dinner time and were told they were not serving food at the moment (fine, although would have been good if a bit more initiative was shown when giving us the highchair - would have expected them to mention this then). Not only that, but we were then told that we were not allowed to feed our baby with our own food on their premises, which is just simply not good enough. We were unable to finish our drinks because we had to rush off to sort our baby out. Really bad end to our lovely day in Stourport. Would not recommend visiting here.

Impromptu visit with family (6) and the dog on a Sunday. Friendly staff, quick service - great value for money on £10 (ea.) Sunday lunch deal. Lovely food, loads of different veg (I had pork and beef). Topped off with a cracking Yorkshire Pudding 👍

Will definitely call in again.

Lovely cosy pub in the Winter and fabulous in the Summer when you sit outside with a cold drink over looking the River in the Sunshine ☀ Highly Recommended 👍

Saturday 4th September 2021:

Gorgeous location above the River Severn near the Wide Locks into Stourport on Severn Basin.
Popped in as it was a glorious sunny day and all the outside seating area with umbrellas looked inviting.
The building itself is very historically attractive and we found a table outside for a quiet relaxing drink looking down onto the River Severn below.
I went in to get our drinks and two portion of chips and waited for my turn to order.

This is when I was told that there was no food being served or made as they didn't have the staff due to Covid, seriously!
Then to top it all, we were served my wife's wine and my pint in plastic soft glasses if you can call it this...I nearly squeezed all my ale out as the plastic pint thingy was so soft....
No other restaurant or pub we visited in Stourport on Severn served us drinks in plastic cups things...!!
So disappointed and we definitely won't be back here again and we'll spread the word to the other boaters to not go or come here.

Beer and wine in thin soft plastic glasses just aren't drinks and shouldn't be used for clients who pay for their drinks and expect a professional return service from a food and drinks establishment.!!
