Lovely local pub in an old mining community. Great atmosphere and ales available on tap. Not a particularly trendy crowd. Card payments available £5 minimum spend. Would go again.

Decent prices for a good pint and great home cooked food. Lovely service from the staff as well and very friendly. Will be back to try more from the menu!!

Smart pub, the lads like the food and their drinks. As a ale drinker the beers on offer at the time were not my cup of tea, but I found something else instead.

Years since visited and was pleased with this public house. Not many people in the lounge when first entered but it did get busy later. Staff were very polite and courteous so would definitely visit again when visiting my brother

This is a lovely country pub staff are friendly, reasonable priced and children's play area athe back garden
