Great little pub and very friendly and the food there is very good quality and at a reasonable price also

Poor selection of drinks when we visited. Whole place has a run-down feel about it at the moment. Staff were friendly, bit nicer places within a short walking distance.

I find it hard to imagine that I shall ever have a bad word for this place.
Staff always give you a friendly welcome and most of my associates drink there.

We called in for the first time last night, my friends heel broke off her shoe as we walked through the door. The guy behind the bar took the shoe and tried to fix it for her while we had a couple of drinks. When the shoe couldn’t be saved, the woman behind the bar asked for her shoe size and gave her a pair of very nice shoes so we could continue with our night out. These 2 are absolute legends and we all had a great time there. I wish I knew their names so I could make this more personal, but thank you so much, you’re both amazing and we will definitely be back… in flat shoes next time xxx
