The Horseshoe, Wilby

Vintage type pub with a nice atmosphere. A serious local pub. Bit dirty outside. Free parking, nice pint. You get a bit of a view of the valley when sitting outside but the traffic is heavy and it can be noisy. They have cosy seating areas and a large TV to watch sporting events.

The best local pub for miles. Friendly staff and customers. Landlady is an absolute diamond - lovely lady who knows how to run an excellent pub.
This is a proper local pub not a chain pub. The beer is always good - usually 3 real ales on tap aswell as choices in lager, cider and guiness plus plenty of top bar drinks and flavoured gin cocktails.
This isn't a food pub but snacks are available. For anyone travelling in the area I would recommend this as a stop off if you don't know which pub to go to.
The traffic on the road outside can be noisy in the day but it's usually quiet in the evening. Don't let that put you off a visit!

Awesome wee pub. My partner and I really enjoyed our night there while over from New Zealand. We were staying in Wilby for the night and the Horseshoe Inn and its owner and clientele really made our night. They were so friendly and we had a great night. Cozy wee pub that has all the necessities. Would definitely go again when we're back over from kiwiland!

Absolutely a lovely friendly place too have a drink, but I must say the prices of any pint was ridiculous!!!!!( average cost should be no more then 3.50 )
