Lovely village pub.
We had the 3 course for £12 lovely meal.

We had a small lunch party at The Star. Although we went for the 2 course meal deal we all had a wonderful meal. Everything was delicious, well presented and excellent quality. This was our second visit and definitely will not be our last.

Fantastic and great value food in this village pub which has been internally refurbished and is spotlessly clean. Friendly staff and a view of one of the last remaining Edward I's Eleanor Crosses.

Great food, lovely staff, if your a big eater this place is for you... 5/5 we will return.

Went for lunch,nice cosy pub, very welcoming,me the wife and the youngest daughter,I had the plaice chips and mussy peas,the wife had steak pie chips and peas,the daughter had meatballs,all presented excellently,all where thoroughly enjoy,all three meals came to £28,I can guarantee I will definitely be going back,and I can highly recommend this lovely pub whole heartedly top notch.

We booked a pre-Xmas get together meal for 16 family members, travelling from various parts of the UK. We usually meet up at another restaurant in Kettering but have been disappointed with both the quality and service at that place in the previous two years. I contacted The Star Inn a few weeks ago and we all met up there today. From the initial phone call to our meal there today, I have to say that this establishment is absolutely first class! The owner could not have been more helpful and the food we had was ecceptional in both quantity and quality. Super friendly service too. We will certainly be back and I highly recommend this gem of a pub to anyone. Thank you to all the staff at the Star inn for a fabulous family get together!

Excellent, friendly pub in the heart of the village. If it had a better bus service I could make it a regular haunt, but you only manage an hour 3 days a week with the current service. Great range of real ale, and other drinks, friendly staff.
