We are in Wales visiting family and this is their local favorite family pub/ restaurant. We ordered the spicy chicken skewer with mango chili sauce and the ever popular fish and chips! The chicken was very flavorful (would have liked more of it) and the fish and chips were very good. This is a very nice place to come and have a meal and a drink!

Haven't been here for years and would highly recommended!

My friend and I decided to take the children out where we knew there was a play area.

When we arrived the place was lovely and quiet and the children immediately went to the play area.

Plenty of space for the children to play and massive beer garden area so you can keep an eye on them.

Lots of choice on the menu and the food is absolutely lovely.

Thoroughly enjoyed my last few visits here.

Lovely staff who are very friendly and character, food is reasonably priced and decent with a varied enough selection to choose from.

Went on a Sunday so it was quieter than i imagine it normally is but would suggest dipping your head in if your travelling about and in the area if you want great service and a cozy pub.

First time visited in many years .on my own was delighted .lovely atmosphere. Great music .what a great pub ! very friendly
was made welcome .my drink carried to my table. as I'm I have mobility problems
Many having meals .that looked generous portions and smelled fantastic. Enjoyed my few pints of John smiths many families arrived. About 4 pm .children some in prams all made welcome, a proper family pub! I did not dine myself as I awaited for my wife who was at hospital but am returning. As the pub has an excellent menu which includes the best gluten free foods I've ever seen

Seated immediately even though they were busy, ordered food and it didn't take long to arrive at the table. The food itself was nice, however, I don't know if it was because they were busy, but, the food was just warm. We will eat there again because like I said they were busy and it may have been because of that, that my food wasn't hot. I will say that the staff are friendly and polite which goes a long way in my book. All in all, a nice visit. Go and try for yourself.
