Went to a 60th birthday party here with 5 course meal. The meal was beautiful and high quality, everything served piping hot ( with 100+ guests) with ample potatoes and veg for the table. We were asked if we wanted more too. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Rooms were not ready till 5.45 when it says from 2.30! Breakfast starts at 7am, booked breakfast for8 am waited until 9 for food then sausages were virtually raw. Ended up just having toast. Only 2 staff occasionally visible if you rang the bell they would come. Had to ask for bread to toast, then ask for butter. Service was appalling, so slow. Room was ok but shower had no pressure at all, water just dribbled out. We were not the only people unhappy and quite a few complaints. Room cost £95. Wouldn’t stay there again. Certainly won’t be recommending which is a shame as it has potential but needs staff.

Great service. Brilliant welcoming and kinds staff. I left a shirt in my room as I was in a hurry to leave in the morning and they posted it back to me and asked for nothing even after I offered to pay for postage. Customer service like that goes a long way. Would definitely stay again.

Nice quirky old rooms, large with good ensuite. A little dated but fair price. Attended a comedy festival in the grounds. Good looking good, although I didn't eat here and the drinks were good and reasonably priced. The staff were lovely

Despite covid - wonderful and friendly reception. Small but clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was perfect. Walking distance from town.
We left an item important to us and the hotel did everything to get it to us as soon as possible. Can not recommend more.

Hotel is tired and outdated, room was old fashioned looking. Uneven floors and basic supplies / fixtures. Heating off when we stayed too. Not worth the £90 we were charged. Cant comment on food as we did not eat here.

Well actually it was all most enjoyable- we were in the marquee which had an outside bar and bbq. So not in the Dodington Lodge building. Atmosphere really good and a great evening
