Stayed a night and the room was very reasonable. It was simple but spacious, with a separate lounge/kitchen and had all I needed. The pub has small rooms and was very friendly, with a good atmosphere and open fires. (I was disappointed to see they'd got a telly.) There was a simple food menu and a local band the night I was there, which was a bonus. If you want an old fashioned pub and nothing pretentious, you'll like it. Great location for local walks too.

The pub is closed, may still offer rooms in nearby cottages as there's a sign with a telephone number.

Very good value for money. We only paid £59 for charming little cottage accommodating myself, my wife and our 11 year old back in November. It had very adequate facilities and was clean and comfortable. The staff at the on-site pub were very friendly and the food is good too. For the price they offered I was more than satisfied.

The rooms are better value than most places in the vicinity. Not luxurious but worth every penny. The real highlight was the pub that evening and warm welcome from the landlords. Very friendly local crowd and some decent ales. Don't leave without trying their homemade pies.

Trevor (aka) Trigger and his lovely lady are the most welcoming , and friendly pub owners I’ve met for years.
Myself and Kelly had two great nights on the campsite.
Very clean toilet and shower facilities, basic, but just what you want away from city life.
Beautiful scenery, beautiful food, and beautiful hosts.

Well done Trev....

A great welcome for the mighty South London triumph owners club. Looked after us for Sunday lunch, when no one would because we had not booked in advance, food and beer was excellent as was the service, biker friendly, we popped in a few times during the Week as our preferred pub. A big thumbs up

Warm welcome by great hosts. The campfield is just right. Not too big or small. Quite basic facilities, but everything you need. And, for the price, its difficult to beat. It is on a busy junction, but, tbh, you soon get used to it,and the positives of the location far outweigh any negatives. Some fabulous walking and cycling near by. The pub itself is great. A good selection of ales and excellent food with a warm and friendly welcome. My friends and I had fabulous time, and we all agreed, we will go back.

Nice relaxing atmosphere, great selection behind the bar and the food was very tasty. Warm and friendly staff. Next to a campsite… and when we turned up there was a vintage car rally which gave us a treat!
