Really nice pub.....but.....there was a drinker in the bar area who was constantly using the 'C' and 'F' words which I thought was totally inappropriate and was not asked by the bar staff to tone his language down. Shame.

Very old tavern with a great pint of Guinness. That's all that needs to be said, love it!!

What an absolutely lovely pub, wonderful friendly landlord, landlady & staff, proper local vibes, much bonhomie and garrulous merriment. Excellent local ‘Hooky’ brewery ales and a delicious Cotswold whisky to boot! Recommended 🙏👍👏❤️

Great atmosphere, friendly staff. The real ale lived upto its very good reputation. Absolutely charming pub dog.

You have a perfectly good large beer garden where you can host things instead of people publicly getting drunk in the middle of a public road this is the 3rd time this year your customers have been spilling out onto the road causing hazards to traffic ! It's winter , it's dark ! It's a 30 mph road ... Someone hits a village drunk by accident because they were in the road it's the driver in prison ... Completely irresponsible.

A beautiful pub, hidden away slightly from passing traffic so you need to know it's there. Plenty of on-street parking available.
Excellent selection of Hook Norton beers, really friendly atmosphere.
Sky Sports in the back if you want that sort of thing, quieter rooms in the front if you don't.
