We have just left after a stay at the Bulls Head for a wedding and we cannot fault them at all. Extremely welcoming and hospitable as soon as we arrived. We had arrived early due to the wedding being an early start and there was no trouble checking us in at an earlier time. It was also noticed that my husband was 6 foot 5 and Wayne immediately made changes to our room (without being asked) to make sure my husbands stay was as comfortable as possible. We immediately felt at home. The room was clean and comfortable with tea, coffee, water and great sized towels (if you are like me, this is very much appreciated!) when we arrived back from the wedding we were warmly greeted and the staff on the bar were lovely. In the morning, we had a wonderful breakfast made for us and nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for a friendly, home from home place to stay then we would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely will be back again! Thank you to the owners and all the staff for making our stay so lovely.

On a very busy, noisy road, the A6. Rooms were clean but dated. The food is nice, we had breakfast served by amiable host. Also had an evening meal in bar/restaurant. All staff were friendly & helpful.

My husband my two girls and myself have just spent a pleasant evening at the bull. its immaculately maintained and clean and there was a roaring fire on a miserable wet evening. The food was amazing, huge portions and very tasty. What was really awesome were the two ladies working behind the bar and bringing out the food they were really busy but were still pleasant and helpful and had time for all the customers ..well done fabulous ...would recommend

We went for Sunday lunch. There is a handy car park in the square. The food is first class, always fresh and great quality. The staff are very nice too. It has a lovely atmosphere with the real fire glowing.

Second time we've had an evening meal our first was very poor, we decided to give it one more go and the meals this evening were awful. Chips cooked in olf oil and the lasagne was lukewarm and very poor. Won't be going again
