Traditional lovely cosy local pub. We have eaten here a few times now and always a good meal. They have a dart board and a small free pool table which is always a bonus. Great views, great food and great staff who are very welcoming.

Amazing food and service! We had a very cosy spot by the fire and the atmosphere was nice throughout. Highly recommended for a perfect rustic dining experience. We plan on visiting again soon!

Lovely little pub. Food is excellent. Proper chips just like my Mum made them. Pie is top quality with proper pieces of meat. Full plate so you don’t feel hungry when you left.
Staff provided excellent service.
Fairly priced so I didn’t feel ripped off.
Thank you.

I honestly wasn't expecting much from this place, small pubs in the middle of nowhere can be very hit or miss sadly.

But this place. Wow. Lovely inside, really helpful staff and locals. Proper warm, welcoming country pub.

The food though, expecting usual pub grub, so went for the usual litmus test; steak and ale pie.

When it arrived, I could tell it was going to be good, proper home made pie, fresh veg, and home cut chips.

And I wasn't disappointed. In fact, this is the best pie and chips I've ever had in a pub. And that is saying something! Tons of filling, plenty of meat, good meat! Filled me up for sure. Would hate to live close to this place as I'd be fat & constantly drunk.

Oh yes, a pint of ipa was less than £4! £3.65. Bargain!

What a place! And no, I am not affiliated with it at all. Just on holiday 😄

Dog friendly too!
