We stayed in the area for a few days break and stopped at the pub for our evening meal. All the staff and punters were very friendly and provided excellent service. Very good selection of beers and ales and the food was spot on, all freshly cooked and good portion sizes we left with our bellys full. Enjoyed it so much we went for a second night. Really would recommend and we will vist again next time were in the area. 🙂

I had a very nice 5-night stay here, The landlord and staff were very friendly, helpful, and made me feel extremely welcome. The food was wonderful and the steak I had one night, was the best I had ever tasted. I slept in two rooms during my stay, the first night was spent in the triple room, with a double and single bed. The rest of my stay was in a twin room, both were nicely furnished, with exposed beams and comfortable beds. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, and I would happily stay there again.

My son and I stayed for two nights 13th /14th of this month. We can highly recommend the George and Dragon...friendly and efficient staff..a warm welcome...the accomodation spotlessly clean and the food excellent.

Lovely friendly local Inn, we stopped off having been walking 🚶‍♂️ in the area made to feel really welcome, good selection of beers 🍻, food and accommodation available and a lovely outdoor seating area at the rear. It was a joy to visit Wales again. 😊

Didn't stay here just popped in for a drink, lovely place and a great locals pub, very friendly atmosphere and some great ales.

Found this hidden gem which serves food from 2pm (much better than everywhere else locally which stops serving at 2pm).

Delicious spinach and goat’s cheese pie, which was homemade, served with peas and homemade chips - huge portion and under a tenner. Result! Good beer too.

Myself and 4 friends visited here
25/7/21. We weren't really looking for a roast dinner but it's all they have available on a Sunday so we went with that. 2 had the chicken and 3 of us had the beef. There is a pork option as well, I'm not sure if you're allowed a mixture of the 3.
The potatoes, veg, gravy and all the trimmings were excellent. However our beef was a tough as an old boot. Struggled to cut it with the knife never mind chew it. Our friends who had the chicken said that was really nice. So if you're eating here on a Sunday I suggest you have that or the Pork.
I suppose we should have said something at the time. But when your on holiday and visiting somewhere you've never been before. You don't like to make a fuss.
The pub itself is really nice with a small garden around the back. And the staff are very friendly. Probably another reason why we didn't say anything about the beef..

Very cosy traditional country pub. A good selection of ales including Butty Bach. A few people were having meals which looked tasty. Nice Christmas atmosphere.
