The Eagles Bunkhouse

Great service.The owner and staff are so lovely. Rooms are neat and clean. Toilets are neat and clean too. We stayed here while visiting Snowdonia. Price is reasonable. The view from here was amazing too. Restaurant is nice too. It based in residential area so very less noise here. Nights are very very quiet. Nice place to relax. Don't forget while there to try local beer 🤤🤤👏👍

Great budget place to stay if exploring snowdonia. Clean simple rooms and facilities (communal kitchen, showers), with a pub downstairs that serves hot food. Pleasant beer garden at the rear.

We didn't use the bunk house as we had rented a cottage a few mins away.
We did visit for drinks and food and the staff were fabulous. Food was great, plenty of it and at an amazing price. 👏
The owner was lovely and our dogs were given a treat at every visit so the pooches definitely recommend the Eagles and so do we.

Great little bunkhouse. Stayed for 3 nights in August, lovely location in a qaint village. Rooms were nice, great mattress and duvet, toilet and shower facilities right outside the door. The pub down stairs is great, with a good selection of bevvies, only downside was lack of food in the bunkhouse and around. Didn't realise they only serve food for a few hours Friday and Sat, so had to go without dinner on Sunday as there was nowhere local to eat. Would return.

We came to the Eagle last night, the staff and customers were really friendly and welcoming. Food was fantastic and there was a great selection of ales, beers and spirits. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning :) Thanks Lucy and Joe xx

We were staying in Penmachno for a biking weekend of North Wales; the pub is a small, local pub that does exactly ‘what it says on the tin’. The staff and local people were lovely - the beers were also superb and Guinness one of the best had outside of Ireland! No frills, but that’s what we wanted. Has a nice. Little beer garden to the rear of the pub.

Well presented rooms in a beautiful, well maintained cottage. The rooms were simple but spotlessly clean including bed linens. Staff were helpful and approachable in the hotel, bar and restaurant. Good, hearty pub food! The hotel itself doesn't have parking but parking is available in a car park which is under 1 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is around 10 mins drive from Betws-y-Coed. Would highly recommend this place when visiting th area.

the eagles bunkhouse in penmachno is a great little pub at the heart of the penmachno. I have been here a number of time over the years when visiting penmachno and have had some good meals here as well as great service from the bar staff. the locals in the pub are also really friendly and helpful. this place is a proper gem
