TGI Fridays - Gloucester Quays

Great food!
Random road trip brought us down to the quays, starving on arrival.
So many places to choose from to eat, it's been a while since I've eaten a Fridays.
We were seated straight away, chose quickly from the great menu of all sorts catered for. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Food was quickly delivered hot, fresh, tasty and plentiful. We couldn't decide so ordered lots of things to share like wings, tacos, potato skins and loaded fries.
Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Clean, decent food and large choice of cocktails.
Bar staff a little slow as were the servers but we enjoyed our meals

I don't nomrally reveiw anything as quite frankly who has the time. But I feel its important to share my reveiw of the TGI Fridays Gloucester branch. We arrived at 14:03 while you could see thier was a few table taken the majority of booths were free and "clean", however after waiting at least 5 minutes before being greeted we were informed their was a 45 minute wait for a table, we thought okay well we didnt pre-booked so we would wait (although they have no text or email notifcations as to when your table is ready which is crazy in this modern age if you ask me...). Any way we come back after 45 minutes get a table and order our food. The order was for mains only, a burge and fries and chicken strips and fries (you'd assume straigh forward). We waited and hour and fifteen mintes beofre our food was served with not a single member of staff offering any explantion as to why. People around us would come in after us order what looked to be identcial meals and get thier food withing 20 minutes and be long gone. Its almost as if our order was completley missed. From the receipte you can see we arrived at 14:52 and got the bill at 16:28 spending in total 98 minutes in a place that was unclean (sticky seats and tables) for what should have been a nice lunch especailly when you consider the premium price tag. Very, very dissapointed and would not recommend

Staff poor have no idea what customer service skills involve, leave you stood there looking at you. Manager couldn’t look less interested and was no more help: visited 24/07/22 party of 8 won’t be going again. Having looked at the fact they have more bad reviews in the last 3 months than good and nearly all make reference to the poor/lack of service I would suggest someone senior needs to spend some time @ store either urgently retraining staff or recruiting a team that can do the job and look like they actually want to be there. Had a lovely day at food festival sadly ended badly at your venue.

Went today for what was a birthday meal for my daughter's 9th birthday. Service was extremely slow, an hour and a half and we still only had a starter. When I booked the table they suggested they sing happy birthday which I agreed to and this was completely forgotten. Not happy as it is not exactly cheap to eat here, I really do expect better service, my daughter was let down today, not acceptable.

The staff here are lovely, the service was quick (we pre booked our table) the food was lovely. The tables etc were clean and well laid out, lots of attention to detail. Will definitely visit more TGI Fridays on my travels.

Amazing visit today. Great service by Blake S. absolutely wonderful service didn’t feel shy or awkward to ask for anything! Even thought it was delicious I Couldn’t finish my meal but kindly got given a takeaway box. Blake S was very polite and attentitve. Her kindness is what will bring me back here and I hope she will be my waitress again. Xxx

Service was too slow. Waited hours before food arrived. The extremely DRY nd cold staff acknowledges you only when you manage to grab a seat. Kept trying to get the attention of the two girls at the bar counter after waiting for half an hour, but was ignored. After an hour I got a table and took another 40 minutes to get even a drink. Staff sees right through you. Not a very warm place to be in. Bad experience. Will never go there again.
