care... they make decisions based on opinions not facts. They returned my car today with no wing mirror making my car illegal to drive!!! So basically I now have no car which affects my job and my little one!!! I will be taking this further and I won't stop until I'm satisfied. Absolutely disgusting service, I wouldn't expect anything less from the bunch of muppets to be fair!!! Just simply avoid them and save yourself the headache. If I would have known about this company and kindertons before hand, I would have gone else where!!!!!!!!!
The Assessors took 2 weeks to come out and assess my car.
Not providing me with a report is a joke too evan though it is my vehicle they are inspecting
Telling me they have sent the report to my solicitors but haven't make you go round company to company like a yo-yo
AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS make up a fake claim
They do not provide a fair valuation of your vehicle and instead go off guides to obtain a value of a vehicle.
Insurance is there to indemnify customers to ensure they are put into a position that they were in before the incident had occurred.
The engineers if that is what they refer themselves to be are useless and ignore to take into account the cost of replacing the actual vehicle on the current market.
Guides are there to be used for guess what guidance not actual figures.
It seems they are living in a fantasy online world and not the real life.
Avoid at all costs.
They have written a report an my vehicle with out actually seeing it , they have reported to my insurance that the vehicle needs parts that are not in the damaged area and not damaged , however they have only willing to paint half the door as they are saying that there is a pre existing dent in it . what a joke . this is what drives up insurance prices
My Audi a3 scratches only nothing major and they Tey tell kindertons my car is a write off nd if I keep my car they would mark it as category N which big fat lie. Stay away from any topany dealing with JP morris they lie too much!!!
My van was written off at no fault of my own it was hit by joy riders (I think) which the policy holder eventually accepted liability without prejudice or reasoning (at first I thought the vehicle that hit my van was stolen).
JP Morris after 3 weeks eventually valued my van at £22,000. Kindertons called me and said now that your vehicle has been valued you need to come out of the car hire we have provided you (baring in mind I had not had any form of update before this, I didn’t even know where my van was, eventually I found out it was moved from Lanterns storage and taken to co-part, perhaps co-part have a better storage rate for Kindertons than Lanterns do)?
I said under no circumstances am I accepting that valuation, I’ve only had the van 4 months and I paid over £27,500 plus vat for it so don’t bother sending the cheque out as I’m not banking it. I had a huge argument with Kindertons as the lady said there’s nothing she could do so I asked to speak to the highest possible manager onsite, I’m still waiting for that phone call?
More to the point, when I spoke to JP Morris (Adam Ross in particular) I explained that my van is not a box standard production van, it’s a limited edition and special edition MSRT R120. I educated Adam on the model and build number allocated to my van as only 30 of these vans have ever been built.
Adam listened (which was very reassuring) something Kindertons have no knowledge of or any form of personal integrity to understand. Adam, once again sympathised with me and asked if he could have a couple of days to research my van specification. To his word he called me two days later and agreed with everything I explained to him. I wanted at least £30,000 plus vat (£36,000as it was an investment and vans have increased in value since I purchased it. Adam totally understood and we agreed on a final settlement figure of £29,500 (I had already claimed the vat back for the initial purchase so I didn’t mind).
If it wasn’t for Adam Ross both Kindertons and JP Morris would be facing me in a arbitration to the highest level as I’m a strong believer in treating people the way you would like to be treated…..Adam did just that!
I have not yet had my payment but I’m confident that the conversation and agreement I had with Adam would be a true fact of statement, after all ; all telephone conversations are recorded (so they keep telling us time and time again, perhaps one day they would actually take the time to retrieve some of these recordings and use them in a training exercise to enhance the teams knowledge and understanding of customer service and expectations).
I’m sure anyone who has read this far into my review should now have a clear understanding of one very special individual (Adam Ross) at JP Morris who has certainly instilled complete faith in this engineering company.
Keep up the great work Adam, your work ethics are genuine and don’t forget, always treat customers/policy holders FAIRLY (which you proved to me you do) that’s all anyone can ask for!
