Again, amazing service from the Burnley team. I wanted a remote key battery and the staff fitted it there and then. I went outside and it worked! No expensive dealer visit now to check it all. Halfords Burnley is as good as ever. Superb! Thank you.

I bought wheel trims for my van and paid £5 to have them fitted. My experience was truly awful. A pleasant young man took the box, opened it and there were the wheel trims and the steel expansion rings. He chose to ignore the expansion rings and after a cursory attempt to fit the trim said that they sometimes didn’t fit and simply proceeded to use plastic ties to hold them in place. I pointed to the steel expansion rings and suggested that they might be important. He said he could try them but at the first attempt using these the trim was no more attached. He told me again that it did not fit and I showed him the box with instructions and on the second attempt he fitted the expansion ring to the trim properly which then could be attached to the wheel. Unfortunately, he still had not bothered to read the instructions and I pointed out that there was more guidance that he should follow. Effectively, I had paid money to show a Halfords employee how to do a part of their job. He said that he had fitted lots of wheel trims and I am assuming that people have believed him that the trims do not attach. The worst part was that he truly did not seem to grasp the idea that he should try to do the job properly. How bad can Halfords training and supervision be? I am writing this because I could not find anywhere to complain to but would happily discuss this with Halfords. I would stress that the employee and I were polite throughout, even when I told him that I would have to complain.

I had my GTech EBike into Burnley Halfords for repair. The fault was found quickly and within the time stated communication was brilliant from the man that fixed it. The fault was found and a price quoted. The bike came back in great order brakes adjusted and the bike cleaned. Thanks to the bike technician good work.

Had a bulb fitted. Super quick, really polite and friendly staff. Definitely beats trying to figure out fitting the bulb myself, worth every penny!

Did not have a Clue where my Battery was located, Told the fitter twice where it was and still would not believe me, When he finally looked where I had said it was, he said he had no Idea how to change this battery and proceeded to look on google on his phone.
Asked for a full refund and left Halfords before they did any damage to my Vehicle.
Should not offer fitting if

Unfortunately, I am unable to leave a zero star review.
Ordered and paid for an item on line to be collected in store, apparently only had one in stock, which they claim has been stolen and declared ‘we don’t have enough staff to combat theft’ !
I can only describe the customer service I have received since as something you would see at a circus 🤡 I thought I was being pranked at one point.
Customer Services just want to put you back through to the store so pointless contacting them.

I will be more than happy to pay a little extra at my local independent Autoparts retailer in future

Appalling customer service no staff visible in the store for 15 min. Computerised systems not working. Most of the store devoted to bicycles. Soon be a vacant store available

Product damaged , , Drawers wouldn`t open on one side of tool box and large dent,twisted metal on top right corner of top box,checked before loading into my vehicle. Staff very helpful and friendly in store but when I phoned up later to order a replacement i was on hold to the store for 32 minutes. Quicker to type an email and start a chat conversation with an agent while phone was still on hold.
