Today a went to have a 10 check on my car For £15. Adi was very helpful and before I left I thought I'd get a price on on a dash cam, Adi is very knowledge on dash cams. I alway find the staff in Halfords there very helpful as I've been going there for years.

The levels of incompetence know no bounds. I would give zero stars if I could. I recently bought a bicycle for my daughter from Halfords in Stevenage. On the way out of the shop the mudguard fell off. We took the bike back. It was replaced and then fell off again on the way home. At home I had to tighten most of the nuts on the bike myself. We took the bike back two weeks later because the pedals kept slipping when my daughter was pedalling. The lady we spoke to was professional, helpful and was quick to explained that the chain was probably loose and that it had not been tightened properly. Three weeks after later the right pedal fell off, while my daughter was cycling on the road. I had to put the pedal back on and tighten it properly so that it stayed on whilst my daughter pedalled. This morning the rear tyre came away from the rim of the rear wheel, again while my daughter was cycling on the road. The inner tube fitted inside the wheel was a size too big and the person who put the bike together had doubled over the inner tube inside the tyre.
Three times my daughter has had bits fall of her bike whilst on the road and I have had to fix numerous parts myself.

It's a one stop shop for all the car accessories... You name anything and you should be able to find it.. some of the products like Oil, Battery, Audio accessories, Mirrors, Seat Covers,..... Their service is also very good and the staff is very friendly... I would love to visit again...

Excellent service from entering store to leaving. Only a simple thing. Fitting a rear brake light bulb but everything was so friendly and professional. As always happy at Halfords

I had booked a free bike check, and told the member of staff that the brakes were very poor. He replaced the front pads and handed the bike back, with the brake levers still going almost to the handgrip before starting to work! I asked him to tighten them and he seemed surprised and argued they worked OK. I insisted so he tightened them a bit. On previous occasions staff have tightened the brakes much further, have cleaned and oiled the chain & cogs, and checked the tyre treads and pressure. So rather disappointing this time.

Amazing service ! Went in without a clue what to do, my heating stopped working so someone told me to get coolant, I had no idea which one to get ! They helped me and offered me a 10 point free car check including coolant and a new wiper blade. They fitted it all for me in 15 mins and included the coolant and blade and I only paid £25. The service was incredible and so helpful to me as I've no idea about cars ! Thank you to Gavin, Barry and Adi for your help today and the great value and getting my car heating going again. 👍

Had to do a same day car battery replacement and managed to get to the store an hour before it closed. Gary was fantastic (everyone was) and changed it for me much faster than I could have myself. Great team.

Had a great experience at the Stevenage branch of Halfords this morning from both the lady on the till and Laura who fitted my new windscreen blade. Was an easy and comfortable experience and having women deal with my requirements was excellent.
