Halfords have done it again with amazing customer service from all staff but in particular Mr Ian James from the Eastleigh branch after overcoming some issues managed to fit my stereo perfectly into my car. Very friendly and helpful service, many thanks.

We were on a 2 day cycling tour (London-Isle of Wight 250miles) with a friend of mine the other day when we had a gear cable snapped on his bike. This Halfords was the closest so we popped in with some hope for help. Despite they were quite busy and fully booked they tried to help us and they squeezed the job in their slot. They were super helpful and the repair was done quickly. A gentleman called Miles definitely went the extra miles! Thank you so much for that! 🙏👍

Very disappointed. I have my service due next month so I thought I'd get ahead of the game and get my brakes checked with them as it was convenient for me. They told me that I needed to replace my brake discs, pads and that one of my rear wheel cylinders was leaking brake fluid.

Following this. I took it to my usual trusted mechanic for the repairs suggested, who pointed out to me and even showed me that my brakes were not even 1/3 worn, my discs were perfectly fine and my rear wheel cylinder was in perfect condition and bone dry with not a single sign of leakage, not to mention my brake fluid is still at the max level. I know he was telling the truth as when I arrived he checked everything with me there in front of him on arrival.

It's disappointing especially because in times of financial uncertainty, Halfords made me feel worried to drive my car by claiming it needed an immediate fix, yet absolutely nothing needed doing. Always get a second opinion if you can. All that worry for nothing.

I bought a new bike and had my son's serviced. The customer service was good. However, their technical service is s bit different. When I rode my new bike for the first time, the one I paid them to put together, my trust in their competence quickly diminished. The handle bars were so loose I could spin it around and pull the bar through the bracket and the brakes were so loose I could not stop, just slow down quickly. I now have to arrange to go back so they can fix the issues. I will check my son's bike before letting him use it.

Beth makes motoring easy, thank you Beth for carrying out a 10 point health check on my vehicle today. I appreciated your expert knowledge as well as great customer service advising me of an oil and filter change and to get it booked in on my vehicle. I have a service plan with my car and although these things are supposed to be done at my local dealership, Beth explained that due to the miles being done some extra car maintenance is needed and appreciated Beth’s feedback and the good service check carried out on the car today, which all passed. thank you

Large car parking. Wide range. Computerised part selection worked fine. Very fast checkout. Store also has large bike area on a mezzanine floor. Large store with servicing attached. Best automotive store in Eastleigh.

I went to Halfords yesterday to have my headlamp bulbs replaced.
The man at the counter was extremely helpful and efficient. He explained that I was also entitled to a free check too.
He kept me updated while I waited. The mechanic was very thorough.
I would recommend this company every time without doubt. Thank you all so much

Recently bought a nearly new car which had what appeared to be wiring for a Dash Cam.

Went Halfords in Eastleigh today for advice about buying a Dash Cam. The Sales Assistant (James) was fantastic. He brought a Dash Cam out to our car and plugged it into the existing wiring which confirmed the wiring was compatible and live.

We went back into the store and he explained the features and benefits of their range of Dash Cams recommending a mid ranged device. We bought a Dash Cam with slightly better picture resolution and appropriate SD Card.

Although we could have plugged in the Dash Cam when we got home, James proceeded to connect the Dash Cam, set it up and install the App onto my Smartphone. All for free.

Outstanding service James and thank you for going the extra mile.

That's why you should always try and buy goods and services from actual people in actual shops rather than just ordering from Amazon.
