Halfords

I had to replace a number plate, and buy a few accessories for my car. I am no expert in this field and found the shop assistance really helpful and knowledgeable. They listened to my requirements and pointed me in the right direction. They gave great advise and the products were found quickly. I paid for the number plate to be put on the car, the seating area and free coffee were very welcomed. Very polite, friendly staff at the Colchester branch. I highly recommend.

I got a feedback card in-store but I lost my receipt so I don't know the transaction number so I thought I'd put my feedback here. I went to Colchester Halfords on a bank holiday so they were really busy but someone found the time to come over to me to see if I needed any help. I asked about the helmets and he was really knowledge and helpful, I then wanted a bike bell I'd seen online and even though it wasn't on the shelf the guy tried to track in down, to no avail but I appreciate the effort, I believe his name was Makyle. P s. I like the look of the store and the new seating area for car services.

Great service from staff. I really appreciate their kindness. I had visited the store 3 times and I spent a minimum of an hour in the store every time I visited. The staff assisted me all the time and had been kind and patient to answer all my questions. Being a beginner, it helped me understand how to choose a cycle and purchase required accessories.

Had a small issues with my daughters bike. Omar sorted everything out quickly and efficiently. He was incredibly helpful and even gave me a little lesson on gears.

A great In store experience

Went to pick up a bike we ordered for our youngest. When I saw the bike I noticed a few scratches on the handle. The manager apologised and sought out a new one. This one had a scratch on too. They opened another 3 boxes of the same bike and they was a scratch on every handle. The manager again apologised and offered to give me back 10% of the cost. I took that plus the handle that had the least amount of scratch mark on it. Understandable it wasn’t Halfords fault. It was clearly a quality control fault at the manufacturers.

I was very pleased with my purchases. The store assistant named Jasmin in Colchester branch, was extremely helpful with helping me find the correct items, and pointed out the discount of £5 which I could get if I purchased another smaller item. Thank you for the service.

No complaint about the staff or store, but I have now realised that the price I paid for a cell battery for my car key was ridiculously high. I needed to go to the store as I wanted some paint, and checked for the battery as I was there. It did seem pricey, but I bought it anyway. However when I checked the price online when I got home I saw that I could have bought the same brand for just over a third of the price! Feeling rather stupid.

My experience was exceptionally good mainly because of your staff member Chanel who was so very helpful and patient with me in setting up the account. I'm 68 years old and not the greatest at using the Internet on my mobile phone but Chanel was able to help and guide me through the process with a constant smile and good humour that put me at ease the whole time. If you want to show new employees how to deal with customers, then get Chanel to train them ! She was absolutely excellent 11 out of 10 for customer service Chanel and many many thanks.
