Wenzel's the Bakers

The food looked OK. Not that I had any. The lady behind the counter was asleep at the till. I stood waiting for her to ask the question can she help but no question came. Then when she finally got back to planet earth she saw 2 other people came in, they got served. I didn't. So I left. Just now 12 35. .
I won't waste my time there again. I wouldn't want to disturb her resting her hands on the till with a vacant look 9n her face. Useless.

I’ve been to this branch a few times and normally I get served by this young lady (Sara I believe her name is), who is very friendly and helpful. She actually brightens your day with a friendly smile and doesn’t mind when I ask for fresh sandwiches to be prepared.

Very upset. I order from Wenzel‘s once a week and usually always order the same thing bacon baguette with butter. This week they decided to do a bacon and sausage baguette smothered in ketchup. No apology from Wenzel‘s when I rang them about it but they were happy to tell me to reorder it through Uber Eats and spend the extra £10 on one sandwich. Uber eats can’t give me a refund either because it was given to me in a meal deal not a single item . So I’ve just spent £20 on a breakfast meal that’s usually £8 !

Ordered food. Two sandwiches and two slices. Took 40 minutes to arrive. When arrived, slices missing and chicken and bacon baguette is missing chicken and bacon. Not impressed. Would give 0 if I could.

It's a great place , tasty baguettes, we always get them. The other day they ran out of what I usually have and guy who served me offered add some salads in one of what was available. That's what I call a service. Well done guys. 👏 and thank you again . Definitely not a 3* what they rate u here .

Nikolette is the best staff at wenzel’s . I like going to wenzel’s however anytime that Pedro serves me, my food is burnt which ruins the experience of visiting wenzels. I guess it back to greggs for me.

I always use this store for lunch, food served is the usual great but the service from Nikoletta is not so nice. Its not like I expect to be served with a smile everywhere I go. I understand how hard these jobs are working flat out from 7am everyday.

I initially thought she's just having a bad day, however she seems to be consistently rude and abrupt with her service every time I've been in. It's as if she has been forced to deal with the customers whenever we step in and inconvenience her.

I don't mind being misheard when asked for tea to be given coffee, however to then be rudely insistant that that is what I said, when I do not drink coffee seemed bizarre.

Then to rub in the fact that my fully stamped reward card entitled me to only coffee and not teas on this occasion left me feeling ridiculed. She did reluctantly give a cup of tea as I left.

I don't think it's necessary to bite peoples heads off as I've noticed with her interactions with other customers.
