The staff are welcoming, friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to keep me happy as a customer.
One very reoccurring issue Is the magic money machine keeps being out of service. Obviously it was not in use during COVID measures.
This is VERY disappointing as my young daughter and I'm sure many other youngsters enjoy playing with the screen and seeing money being counted which makes saving fun.
Now considering younger generations are your future customers it's disappointing that this machine or a mechanical toy/machine is not always available to encourage saving skills as more of a priority.

Fantastic bank, open on a Sunday. Very helpful by Anthony and his team. We only went into use the magic money machine for some coins but considering changing my business banking to here. Thanks again

Really bad. Served by Nihal. Wouldn't let me collect my belongings from safety deposit box 30 - I arrived 30 minutes before closing time on a Saturday. Store was quiet. Told me to come back tomorrow! Really disappointed 😞. Raised a complaint with head office. Let's see what they say...

I went Metro Bank, Southampthon. One of staff name,no idea extremely rude, not professional and not acceptable as a banker and her service, behavioural.
She should not work with Metro Bank and make the bad reputation.

Bank doesn’t allow people to deposit money into your account for you and the banking app has been down for over 3 days

Rubbish bank and rubbish service, trying to open an account and been told English is not good enough by the receptionist, so they won't open the account for us. So rude and racist.

Avoid this bank at all costs. I will name and shame Naz that works there as an incredibly rude and disrespectful young woman. She has absolutely no clue about customer service and hides behind her counter showing no respect whatsoever and being as unhelpful as possible. Frozen business accounts 3 days before Christmas and withholding funds refusing to transfer money meant for staff and keeping businesses afloat over Christmas and another possible lockdown imminent. Her words...."Not my problem"
There is nowhere to go if you have a problem. They tell you to write a letter to head office!! Who writes letters when an email is faster and guaranteed to be received? And they still keep your money. Diabolical customer service and to be fair they don't give a stuff about you as customers. They have their favourites.
I have only given one star because I can't give none.

Very disappointed, I went to the branch today (Saturday), only to find they are not open. I know there is s lockdown but banks are essential or so I thought. How exactly do they expect you to be able to get to your money if they are not open and your account does not qualify for a card. Fortunately for me this is not my only bank account and I was able to get the funds I needed from elsewhere. But others may not be so lucky. Maybe, you shouldn't change your opening hours without advising your customers. I have still had to work through the whole pandemic, so weekends are one of the few times I can get to the bank.
