Santander

I needed advice on my overdraft facility and was lucky enough to be served by a lovely and very helpful young lady (sorry...I didn't get her name) from Brazil. After she had resolved my questions and ordered a replacement card for me...we chatted about our travels, her husband's trip to India, her plans for the same and my own experiences in the sub continent.

It was so refreshing to have that...non-professional...chat and not feel pushed to conclude your business. Admittedly the branch wasn't busy and no doubt the situation would have been totally different if it had.

Disaster service you cannot withdraw your own money very rude stuff

Been with Santander since they were Abbey National.
Never had any problems with day to day banking and the staff are always friendly and professional as you would expect.

This quaint branch is in Shaftesbury.Like a Hobbit bank.. the the cash machine in the wall is about a foot of the sidewalk, best little bank ever.

closed before 3pm when I came in today, and neither of the ATMs outside could read a cheque. Woman who worked there said she'd "take a look at the ATM" and then locked the doors and never came back. Waste of time and parking.

Very rude cashier, unhelpful and arrogant; needs a course in customer service basics, obviously not received one, couldn’t even manage a good Morning, let alone successfully deal with my banking. Awful attitude

Best service from a guy I think his name was Mike. Took the time and effort to process what I wanted. Recently this kind of service is more and more rare. Thank you
