Be prepared 30-40 mins waiting time in a queue is a usual. One member trying to sort all the people out when other members running up and down in the building like it's a fire! You get closer to the counter quicker if you start moaning to other people in a queue so they leave before they got served. Years on, and it’s the same! Customer satisfaction must be the first priority!

Ordered for cash transaction pickup on Thursday . Get there for Monday afternoon only to be told the counter is closed as the person called in sick in the morning . The manager should have then contacted all the people that were due in that day to collect their cash requested . But manager choses not to contact . Not the first time I’ve had cash collection issues with this branch. Very disappointing. Will they reimburse me now for a wasted trip ? Probably not.

Never ever seen such terrible customer service. Staff are clueless! Please invest in some robots, might do the job better. Came in last monday to sort few things out, 3 staff standing chatting and giggling , turned me around saying no agent available to help. At least you could've booked me an appointment this week so I didn't have to wait almost two hours at the branch?! In my 2 hours waiting, i have seen many customers fuming. If only google allowed me minus star rating, terrible service.

They are helpful if you need to use one of the machines, However, cashing a cheque is a whole other story. Counter service has been dodgy at best: closed for a variety of reasons. It is closed on Saturdays when you would expect most business. It closes at 2pm during the week but I have yet to find it open. Again for a variety of reasons.

Visited this branch yesterday (Tuesday 21st June) to make a large payment in preparation for a house purchase. Was informed that there was no-one in branch with sufficient authority to authorise the payment, and wouldn't be until Thursday. Apparently this was as a result of the train strike.... apparently none of the senior collegues at this branch can drive, have access to a car or are capable of catching a bus! In spite of the obvious irony, it was suggested that I drive to Watford or Luton to complete the transaction..... For the record I completed the transaction this morning at the Barclays branch in Staines, who couldn't have been more helpful and efficient. Clearly a serious issue with the senior team at St Albans

Worst service I’ve ever come across . Only one advisor on a day to help with specific services.
It’s very unorganised and not at all structured.
They expect us to wait an hour in the queue, but not comfortable seating provided.

Even though they say it is open until 4:30pm, That is not true. The counters are open only till 2:00pm. Saturday they are closed.

Went in to finish opening a premier account that I had tried to open online. In total with waiting and time sat whilst the member of staff served me I was there for almost 4 hours across 2 visits. Won't be keeping it long. Never known a bank that bad. Also saw staff being very unhelpful to other waiting customers who just wanted to know how long they will be in there. Take your laptop and get some work done whilst you wait!
