Barclays Bank

I have only visited the branch once as a result of losing my card during the weekend so needed to obtain cash over the counter. My experience was absolutely appalling, lack of organisation, no consistency of the order in which people were served, unprofessional behavior of behind the counter staff who were not actually working but in full view of the general public, also the actual branch ambiance is poor, archaic I would say, hopefully I will never have the need to do business there again !

Over an hour long queue just to put cash into company account. Why can't you re-open the windows you used to have. Just to put cheques or cash through and go. Could save time and nerves to everybody. Specially if you close at 3 pm resp. 2 p.m. as counters closed at 2 p.m. Horrible experience every single week.

Disgusting service. The branch closed early.

I wanted to pay in some foreign cash into my account, the bank states weekday closing time as 4:30pm. When I reached the bank at 3:15pm I found that it closed at 2:00pm with a sign telling me that I should try online banking, use the app or use the self service machines which do everything that I can do from home app apart from paying in foreign cash. Barclays? do you have an issue with the English language? there is no service after 2:00pm, you are SHUT!

Tottenham High road

Didn't understand today why the system would only accept 500 of my 524 payment. Told my husband that's all the system will accept on giro slip as there was a problem with banking system . What I don't get he asked if he could make a separate payment of 24.00 pounds on another slip, informed no. Only one payment could be made 🙄now I will need to attend again on Monday to pay 24.00 pounds, someone please explain.

I have never been to a place with such poor customer service. Been a few times for various things and each time I feel like I am interrupting their personal conversations to serve me, often waiting a few minutes for them to finish their personal chat before I will be seen. Once you are finally served they have no issue continuing their conversation whilst serving you, and hardly look at you. I have heard all sorts including gossiping about other colleagues, their love life issues or slagging off the branch itself. It is very strange and I have never had this poor level of service so felt inclined to leave a review as it is not the usual high service I have from other branches.

Excellent service and someone is always available to give you advise.

Extremely disrespectful & unprofessional. Went upstairs, talked to a guy in a room. I've never ever seen a banker that rude in years with Barclays.
