No over the counter service. Carlos checked and sent me to Wandsworth branch. This branch is closed in its normal operating hours. Terrible bank. Stop fighting crypto and counting your losses. Get back to your core business you used to be good at.

My local branch has become awful, wanted to see if I could still get foreign currency (turns out not), ignored in queue for 15 mins, no eye contact or acknowledgement. Saddens me as I used to work for HSBC which prided itself on customer service.

Fantastic experience!

Opening a student bank account as an international student was pretty straightforward and hassle-free here. The staff is super friendly, efficient and quick. 100% recommended!

Employees gave to me misguiding and confusing information, I did an upgrade of my bank account to apply for a basic credit card (I just want to start building my credit score doesn't look like a big deal) they told me to come back after 1 month from the bank account upgrade to apply for the credit card, after more than 1 month I was back one hour before the closing time and another employee just told me that I have to wait between 3 to 6 months before to apply and refused to do the application for me, without giving any explanation, checking my details, or without even smile and say sorry if we caused you to come here for nothing.

Have used this branch for many years. Used to be fantastic when they had the customer service desks on the first floor. Due to budget cuts that has been closed and now forced to use the cash machines. This week ALL 3 of the machines in branch were out of order as was the machine for paying in cheques. The staff showed no interest and no system in place to deal with this problem. Pathetic service.

I'll start with the fact that the employees at this very address of the bank HSBC in Clapham Junction are extremely disrespectful to their customers. During a pandemic, people shop online en masse. On February 28, I decided to place my first online shoe order. Separately, I will not add other problems with other orders that I had to fill with my valuable time, thanks to the bank. Minutes after I had placed the order, I noticed that I had confused the numbers on the shoes and, of course, I immediately canceled the order, even though the money had already been taken from the card. After that, I ordered the same shoes again, only with my feet' exact size, and I was charged again, which is understandable. The next day I contacted an employee of Bereshka to explain the situation to him. The man was very kind. After my conversation with him minutes later, I received an email that they confirmed that they would not take my money from the first order, which meant that I had to get it back from HSBC. The next day I visited the bank to tell them about my situation. One of the employees was not at all polite and didn't seem to care and just told me you'd get them tomorrow. And in principle, as far as I know, money is recovered from 5 to 7 days by the bank. I said "OK! I will wait as long as necessary. I waited another 9 days and my money was not refunded. I went to the bank again and from there another lady explained to me that their system was the same and that I would get my money in two more weeks. And it didn't happen. I waited until just before the end of March and visited them again. Then I was greeted by a gentleman who told me that I had to wait at least more 4 weeks. All three times when I was there I sat for about 15-20 minutes to wait for them to play on the computer I noticed that since February 28, when I made the two orders, one of which was removed, there is no trace of my bank statement. 07/04/2021 and my money is still gone. How do I place my next order and pay with your bank? It is very incorrect. I have filed a complaint and I hope there will be fairness.
