Let me first start by saying I am an extremely patient person. I work in a customer focused industry myself and I know mistakes can happen, and that things do not always ''go exactly to plan'' and sometimes, mistakes can be made. I also account for human error, changes in staff etc.

HOWEVER. I have to say the customer service from Brixton Halifax has been beyond horrific. Back in June I applied for a supplement credit card for my wife. Sometime in July I was asked to provide documents to Brixton Halifax which I do, then sometime in September I found out they ''lost'' and the application was not submitted successfully.

We re-supplied the documents in September, only to find out again in October they were ''lost'' again. Having gone back again in October to be told that the application could not be submitted in Branch and we had to make an appointment. To then get another call to say we would have to do the application on the phone.

However, I do not find it acceptable to have a bank lose personal documents on three occasions. This includes personal information, bank statements, passports, I.D documents and certified documents. Absolutely horrific service, bordering on breaches of data protection in my opinion.

Having spoken to an extremely helpful lady I believe this is now sorted, this was from the head office of Halifax, I am still waiting for a response, having now visited branch five times.

They had 1 incompetent member of staff at the counter, 1 member of staff greeting people. It took 45 minutes to be seen to! Shocking service, had to offer my space to an elderly man that was forced to stand as a large lady and kid had taken the seating. The bank itself is good, never had an issue, this rating is based on this branch alone.

There is a Jamaican female, customer servant, of an age 48, she is really rude, does not know how to control a situation but makes things worse, also when putting large sums of cash ranging from 1,500, and more from savings be aware they will take you at least £10, once it was £400, always claim a receipt before leaving and check your balance, this bank is really dodgy and it's not the first time I come in and someone is saying they known for knicking money.

Terrible bank, the place stinks and looks filthy however security guard was professional in helping and maintaining his conduct, overall review, please avoid this branch, they are theives.

Smelly and dirty place. There is a very strong stench and the floor is unclean. It's hard to believe it's actually a bank branch. Staff is very rude and unhelpful and yelling at customers. Unbelievable that this establishment exists and Halifax should be really ashamed!

Standing up and waiting in the line for 'help and advise' for 15mins. 2 people where infront of me, 1 being served and the other waiting. After the person being served had left, the person in front of me had been served. After the person infront was served, the worker had informed me that her collegue will assist me shortly. Waiting in the queue for another 10mins after realising, a man that was waiting in the other queue is now being served by the collegue (Jahmeina) that was supposted to assist me next. At 16:25pm Jahmeina, did not even acknowledge me and what had seemed to be flirting with the male customer.
I approached the security officer who happened to be a lot more helpful than Jahmeina. The security solved my issues and I left the bank passing Jahmeina and the male customer.

PROFESSIONALISM is a must!! Regardless if you know a customer or not, that is a huge disrespect. The 2 school children behind me where also confused as they could see and also hear Jahmeina with the male customer, and decided to sit down.
This behaviour put me off on going back into this branch.

Poor. Called back online and they fixed my query. They said in the store I should just wait but I came back home and called online and they told me I should’ve been able to change what I needed in the branch

This is one of the un profesional poor service bank in UK. the brixton branch SW9 7DE officers working there are very rude all of them. There is no any customer service they give you they talk to you like I don't care. These bank officers need to be trained for how to give customer service
