Halifax

The Halifax in general is well below par!.
The Dartford branch employ staff who cant even "speak to customers properly",why employ them..??...Im currently looking for another Bank whom CAN act & talk properly with much Better Service!.
Im SURE that with the proper & correct training for the RIGHT staff,the Dartford,Halifax Could Be Much Better.

I had some question I went to help desk and spoke with Jaz. She was not helpful at all and very rude on replying my query. She made me feel awkward while i was there. Needs of customer service training

Long queue always just a staff in counter i took 4000 pound to deposit it took 15 min to count that money by hand si slow

This branch is going downhill. There used to be 4 counters, 2 of them are permanently closed now and most often only one cashier is working. I would like to visit my bank on Wednesday or Saturday as it's most convenient for me, unfortunately both days this branch is closed now - that's why I'm starting to think about moving somewhere else instead of taking time off work on every occasion I need to go to bank. Never had an issue with staff though, I think they are helpful and friendly, just not enough people working. It looks like management is making cuts and savings and as a result leading this branch to inevitable closure. Sad, especially because online banking in Halifax is very good. Dear managers - not everything can be done online, face to face banking is needed, needed to be efficient and effective.

Thank goodness one of my days off is now a Monday and I don't have the weekend off, otherwise I would not be able to put In cash deposits. The only people they are 'making things easier for' is themselves by reducing staff and opening hours thereby reducing g their outlay and Increasing profits.

I’ve been with this bank since I was 12, went into the Dartford branch Monday on a rare afternoon off work to deposit some coins all counted and bagged up that had built up at home due to not being able to go because the bank is closed most of the time.
The bank was quiet and I was the only person there for counter service, I had several bags of coins to go in which they have taken in for me many times, on this occasion I was told they could only take 10 bags, I pleaded and asked nicely that seeing as no one else was there if they could do it as I had bills to pay and wouldn’t get a chance to come back again for a while and they have always do it for me and wasn’t aware they could only take 10 bags. The lady behind the counter was very rude and unhelpful and said she wouldn’t, then a man that worked at the bank approached me and told me they couldn’t take my change as they have no room in their vault.
So if I had a wad of cash notes would you not take them because you have no room in the vault? I didn’t have millions of pounds worth of coins to put in so really wouldn’t take up much room in the vault. How big is your vault? If it’s a size of a shoebox which the way you made out to be I suggest you invest in a bigger vault.

The lady on the help and advice desk in Halifax Dartford was most helpful. I wish I’d got her name . I was nervous about going in there after reading the negative reviews. Couldn’t have been more considerate and helpful.

Wanted to make an appointment. Front counter wasn’t nice to help out and told us to book it online. Did as what was told. Got a call from them and Jaz said to come to the bank and make an appointment instead. WHAT THE HECK ?! Jaz needs to work on her communication skills. Rather rude and unfriendly.
