Barclays Bank

I have try to contact the bank for an urgent matter from Colombia, It has been impossible.
I have sent special letters and have not a replay from the bank or the customer services.
I wonder if I had to travel all the way to be able to receive an assitance from the bank-

Utterly appalling. I have just spent an hour trying to get a simple certification for change of signature for a voluntary organisation I am involved with. The 'meeter and greeter' Karim Bouterfas could not have been more unpleasant and rude. He firstly said it couldn't be done. then told me to sit and wait with no further explanation of what was going on.. After half an hour, i went to ask him what was happening. He completely, deliberately and obviously ignored me, even though i asked him 3 times what was happening. I had no idea what the queuing system was and he refused to explain. He then said as I had shouted at him ( which I had not) i had lost my place in the queue. as i was leaving, he swore at me behind my back, Another far more helpful person ( I didn't get his name unfortunately) then came and said i was next to be seen, which was all i had wanted to know in the first place, but for the ignorant conduct of Karim Bouterfas. I would strongly suggest to the manager that if this individual is to be in customer facing roles he needs some costumer care training.

When I visited the branch to get an appointment for opening an account, the person at reception said, it is fine to have bank letter addressed to other branch of Barclays, we can accept it. When I visited on appointment to open the account the person got changed and the new person said we cannot open using this bank letter as it is addressed to other branch. there was a fuss. I had to get new bank letter to open the account. Get your bank letter addressed to the branch you want to open.

Robel the manager is completely and utterly despicable human being that does not vAlue customers time.

I waited in multiple ques for an hour and shared my frustration with this pathetically weasel excuse for a human being (he's tiny) only to face what I can only describe as a small man syndrome ego outburst and totally refusal to serve me or give me service. Am escalating the co plaint to the ceo's office and seeking compensation or my I'll treatment and time. Barclays is going down hill fast and managers lime robel astaw should be removed quickly for the sake of customer sanity. I can only describe them evil evil people. While they are being paid to stand there and refuse to serve you, your most infinitely valuable resource time they are willingly wasting. Totally totally totally disgusting. Barclays. I want my time back. Give it back to me as you decided to steal it. *******

Do anyone at Barclays reading those reviews ?! Barclays Bank in general is bad enough , but I think you will see the full potential of their mediocrity if you set foot in their Bayswater branch . And don't get me started on the staff who has much sass has a Taylor Swift tune !

The staff in general are friendly and all. For the past few months, I've been visiting the branch trying to sort out an old issue that was never getting solved. Thank to Robel who did probably everything he could and he sorted out the problem within hours.

The worst bank I have ever seen. Always a long queue not because they have too many clients but because the staff and management system are incompetent. I am sent there by my workplace. I personally do not open a bank account in such a place.

I have never come across a branch with such appaling working hours. They are open from 9am-2pm during weekdays.
