Nice large branch with a number of ATM machines inside. There is almost always a member of staff floating about on the floor to help customers with any ad-hoc questions or to give some quick advice what to do. Situated in the middle of the main shopping area.

Incompetent people would like to make you wait if in they opinion your case is not important! Up on arrival the receptionist mentioned 5 to 10 minutes waiting time, as I'm running late for an interview I still could expect 10 minutes. After half an hour for my frustration they taken me and informed me that the receptionist should just done this for me in 2 minutes! Incompetent people wasting time here, no supervisior around, no manager is around. Ridiculous branch and I would never recommend this to nobody. I'm still waiting by the way!

Very good service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Specially in Business Banking. I want to mention one name from Business Banking Mr. Faruque. He is very helpful and supportive. I will recommend all of my friends and relatives about him.

You have a real friendly and helpful team of staff's at this branch, Who are understanding and polite,
They'll go out their way to help you.

They have three machines outside,
One at the front and two at the side of the building, with another 4 machines inside to deposit and take out money,

Good morning. First of all i am a santander customer for almost 5 years. I have tried the branch in ilford regarding my overdraft limit increase but apparently the lady told me they cannot do this in branch which i find it ridiculous. I was on my way home and i thought i can solve this matter as well. What i found it was a blunt “NO, we don't do this in branch”. I have searched a little bit and i found on santander.uk website says there are three available options to increase the overdraft limit: branch, call, online banking. I am very offended the way how some of your employees are treating their customers. This is not nice lying and just offering a blunt NO.

I'd give zero stars. The Ilford branch is terrible, full of incompetent, rude staff, no idea how to talk to people and treat customers extremely badly. The staff make so many mistakes, closed my account by mistake which I had to spend weeks sorting out, do not know how to do basic things that they should know how to do, refuse to stamp statements that are required as proof delaying me. Made to wait more than half an hour on 16/11/22 around 3pm in the Ilford branch, to get the statements stamped, then there was an Asian girl ghat came back out after 45 minutes to say they can't do it! Atrocious customer service. Then she started gossiping and talking about me to another Asian boy staff there. Unprofessional, uneducated staff that do not deserve jobs. They lack basic common sense, common courtesy and manners. They argue with customers. Without customers the staff and managers won't have jobs. The manager is just as bad and defends his staff's awful, unacceptable conduct which is likely why he hired such deplorable staff in the first place and because he is like that, he refuses to address the misconduct that would otherwise would lead to disciplinary. How he's the manager there is shocking. I highly recommend others NOT to bank with Santander, go and bank with banks that respect, value customers and are professional. I will be moving my money to another bank and reporting them to the CEO and head office.
