Persistent, pushy selling of products despite being told repeatedly and on numerous occasions that the answer is no. The pay in machine left out of order for what it seems eternity, so no chance to avoid the harassment. The cashier passive aggressive behaviour turned downright hostile when it became clear she's not getting the sale. Head office have a word.

Went to a bunch of banks in Eltham high street asking about international student accounts. Most of them just said "no we don't do those" and didn't offer me anything else. This HSBC said "we don't have those, but..." And helped me open a normal bank account. Friendly and helpful staff

Staff are all very happy and friendly, I actually always crack a joke and smile with Michele, sara and of course Collin, very informative and always willing to go that extra mile, Jeanette is lovey but scares me lol

Wanted to with draw a large amount of cash . Asked at counter no problem how much I had been told busy another branch I could only have 2000. 5he lady informed me that was not true . I was trying to pay off a mortgage with another bank , she said I could do that from here if I liked instead of carrying cash around . If I did it in 2 smaller amounts I would not be charged . She was so helpful. She told me to check the next day with my other bank and make sure it went through correctly and if there were any problems come back and see her . So helpful . Will use this branch in future as my local one has closed
