I’d just like to say a huge thank you to Josh, alongside all the staff who went above and beyond to help an elderly relative today. We were hugely difficult customers but they were super accommodating and made sure they looked after her and her money! Even though the bank was busy, we were seen right away and all the staff were friendly and hard working.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! Have been trying to open a joint account with my husband for about 3 months now. We tried to apply online a few times, and the application would always crash half way through. On the Barclays website, it says you can go to a branch or call to arrange an appointment. We decided to go to this branch. Upon arrival, we were told they don't do walk-in appointments, and that we should download the app to apply for a current account which I would then be able to add my husband to. We were told that we could book the appointment through the app to finish the process. This didn't work, so I decided to call to set up an appointment, we had to wait one month for our appointment. On the day of the appointment we arrive, and the person we were supposed to meet was not even in! There were people who had been waiting for more than hour who hadn't even booked an appointment. So apparently walk-in appointments are a thing there. Although we had booked, those who had walked in before us were told they'd be seen first. Absolutely ridiculous customer service, why not notify us / reschedule our appointment.

Don’t bother. Never any employees. Lines always out the door. Long wait times. Nice staff but not enough. I guess being in Dalston means understaffing and poor service are acceptable. Same in Whitechapel. Today there is one person behind the counter and 13 people waiting for service.

It's Friday, it's very busy inside bank....I tried to withdraw money from outside atm but limited. Inside bank, only one counter open, loads of people queuing and only one atm working to withdraw higher amount of cash 💸 🤦🏿‍♀️🤦🏿‍♀️🤦🏿‍♀️🤦🏿‍♀️. This is a bloody joke of a services. Barclay bank in dalston needs to sort it out ASAP. Where is the branch manager, sort out your equipments so that they all work and also open up more counters on your busy days. It's not that much to ask is it.

There's always a queue at this place. The two times that I've gone I have had to wait about 20 mins to see a customer service rep and on both occasions I've had to deal with an employee who clearly doesnt enjoy their job. On the first occassion they gave me blatently false information about my ability to get proof of address which another more competent colleague was able to correct him on. Some of the other staff seem friendly and competent. Overall, fine but a pretty stressful place because of how busy it is and a bit of a luck of the draw who you end up talking to.

Terrible service. They just let people wait and wait and wait. and the Q builds and builds and nobody servers the counter.... this is the only Barclays facility for miles. I'm leaving Barclays soon because of this

Terrible service. Waited 1 hour for a simple thing to sort. Utter joke and disgrace.

1 counter open in that time. Joke!
