dreadful. They made a mistake on a joint account application then had the courage to call me and tell me that unless I could come to the branch right that minute (whilst I was at work) they would close the account. I was so annoyed by their attitude considering the mistake was theirs to begin with that I told them to go ahead as there are far more deserving banks out there. Avoid at all costs!

quite useless to be honest, and find their attitude quite rude. not really any point of having them open an even more expensive looking branch if they're just going to refuse to help with issues like cash transferred to other accounts or telling me how much balance there is on the credit card. if the customer has to do everything ONLINE you may just close

Only people with business accounts are allowed to use the counter! NatWest obviously has disdain for the ordinary customer though not every branch does this.
Additionally, some staff seem reluctant to help even though they are standing around.

It's run by peoepl that could all be related by that I mean talking in there own language tojto eachaeach otherslothers it's a franchise of Tesco .

After my visit last week I as was everyone stood behinde me even at a distance was left astounded.
The cashier had to text between customers so as I walked up to the desk I ignored what she was doing put my card in only to be told wait loudly. I asked her what for and she said whe was busy ( yes texting) and I should clam down.

I took my card and walked away only to Be met by convearned on lookers.

Staff don't want to be there they are miserable looking uninterested in customers and highly iunprofessional and for me it's not the first time at this NatWest and only this NatWest .

I want to give a huge shout out to Shabana!!!

She greeted me and my father with a smile and asked if we would like some help. We did not even have to wait long.

She displayed her high quality customer service with top professionalism.

Thank you so much for making this easy, quick and comfortable for me and my elderly father.

Please feed this information back to her so she’s aware. Thank you.

Yes I find the branch manager rude and I think it's ridiculous this branch only accepts business banking at the counter. Although sometimes one does get a helpful teller who's happy to oblige for personal banking. Bit of a poor show. These big banks had to be bailed out at billions of pounds of taxpayers' money during the Credit Crunch. I mainly use the automated machines to pay in these days.

The branch manager is rude, unprofessional with no idea about customer services. Pretty poor from a global company. As I read through other reviews I notice a recurring theme.
