I knew I needed to visit a branch to speak to someone for what I was looking to do. It took 10 minutes for someone to come to speak to me at a relatively quite time.
Albeit that I popped in on the off-chance whilst in South Harrow, I was not impressed to find only 1 person was covering things that could not be done at the cashier's desk, that that person was not there all day and there was no one taking over for the rest of the day to closing time. So not the best of service. Topped off by being told I could just pop into another branch, which I did only to be told there that I needed to book an appointment via customer services and should have been advised of this.

Visited branch to get a simple process done. Got there for 9.30am but instead of solving my issue, which the staff confirmed would take 30 minutes, she spent 20 minutes looking for an appointment. Wasn't able to get a Saturday appointment so need take to take a day off to get it done.
Disappointed with visit and customer service.

Pretty disappointing experience as far as a leading high street bank is concerned. This specific branch is probably understaffed and the staff working are stretched and stressed with the workload thus with the customers. They tend to detract customers from visiting their branch, for example keep telling customers to download the app, do online banking or phone instead of visiting the branch. Perhaps this is due to Barclays laying staff and closing many branches to protect the margins of profit making. Customers be warned do more homework or not to get pleasing welcomes.

I went to the bank three times, three different days different employees of the bank give different information. Which does not match up with each other. They don’t care about customers and their time. The customer service number doesn’t work no one answer the phone and just waste your time. Please don’t go to this bank. #shameonyouBarclays.

Appalling branch! Barclays closed down local branches and as I result, I have the misfortune of coming here to do my banking. They have no counter service on Friday or Saturday, so people have to queue for ages for only TWO machines. This is a disgusting state of affairs. I feel so sorry for my elderly and inform relatives. Shame on you Barclays. If you want to shut everything down including local branches and counter service, atleast provide more machines. This is disgraceful and not practical. Some of your staff are miserable and unfriendly too. Staff training in basic customer service is needed! I would give this branch zero stars, but I had to give atleast one star in order to compose this review.

There were two customers holding up one of the self serve ATM’s and it looks like they tried to put fake money in from I walked in until I left (20 mins). There needs to be a time limit on how long someone can stay there, because of them there was a looong queue of people trying to put cash in their accounts.

Pathetic and stubborn manager. Despite having an appointment, she was turning me down. However, Mrs Ansari with whom my appointment was, came to my rescue and helped me out. Thank you.

Worse bank ever I seen in my life. No customer service at all . Staff are rude to customers. Never attend the phone calls , never provide appointments and so much delay in providing services. I requested them a bank statement it took them a whole month to provide one . I am regretting the decision to continue banking with the bank . The Staff ignore customer’s needs and the customer has to suffer the consequences. I have never seen such a bad branch in my life . I wonder how the bank trouble old and vulnerable people who are weak and has difficulty in speaking. I am sure banks like these will definitely fool such people. For one bank statement I have had to make phone calls and chats daily , which is of no use because of the ignorant staff. Very pathetic.
