Usually good and quick service. Almost had a heart attack once when I was trying to transfer some money into my account because the ATM took the money but then displayed an error on the screen. If this happens to you, make sure you find somebody from the staff around there before the next person tries to use the machine. Otherwise, I was told it gets more complicated.

Worst branch ever. Expect to spend an hour here every time. Three counters but only one (or at best, two) are ever open. Slow service. Slow customers. But mainly just not enough staff. When banks still hand out bonuses, the least they can do is staff their branches accordingly. I'm leaving.

What is the point making an appointment to let your customer wait for over 30 mins? Also your (I will be 5 mins) turned out to be 15 mins before I left.
Some people keep to their schedule maybe hire some grown ups who understands the concept of time keeping.
I've been a customer for nearly 20 years definitely will be changing to a more reliant banking provider who doesn't waste my time.

I've never had any problems with this branch. In the 20 years I've banked with them the staff have always been helpful, friendly and professional, in fact my branch is Catford but I never go there because they've not been very nice in the past.

Apparently to open an account for a child it's not enough to bring child's passport and BRP , but also a birth certificate. So, if it's not in English, what then? According to the lady who works in Lewisham branch- translate it (certified translation, i guess, since it doesn't say anything similar anywhere on the website). Those are listed as options on NatWest website, but people in Lewisham branch don't agree, they have their own rules. I wish I was informed in a letter that I recieved what I can or cannot bring, I really don't understand why I give all those details online, not to mention that info on the website led me to believe that I can finish everything without going to the bank.

Worst service ever. Waited for almost 2 hours because not enough people were serving. I explained to have my service expedited because I had a visa appointment and they didn’t care. I eventually missed my visa appointment and had to pay over £200 to get it rebooked
