Been going to this bank since I was in primary school. The staff are ACE! ALWAYS ready to help, yes they get busy and the queues are long but the customer service is worth the wait (unlike the Ilford Branch).

No facilities for the disabled and elderly. No seating and long queues. Could have more customers socially distancing inside. Portions between cash machines need shelves. No where to put cards, bags etc except on the floor. Which in my case I got dizzy keep bending down. All in all not a good experience visiting the bank where I have been a customer for over 50 years. Cant blame everything on co-vid. They just dont seem to care to make things easier

New team has lost it!
Left my cash bag in the safe with a transaction receipt using quick business deposit facility for business’ they never bothered processing it its over a week now and still counting (6/1/21). Made a complaint 2 days ago to the complaints team nothing from their end either. It was never like this with Natwest.

Waiting in the queue due to covid19, which is not a problem as I understand the situation but never have I met a rude branch manager who doesn’t understand the fact I do not trust the paying in machines as I’ve had problems before where money had not hit my account. Spoke to me like I was in the wrong and made it clear nothing will happen. He does not have no guarantee. The last branch manager said the same and left me with a situation they could not help me with after. Bottom line poor manners and very bad service just from himself.

Waited for almost 2 hours in the queue, understandable as due to COVID-19.
However staff was extremely rude, and don't seem to know their own bank.
My mother couldn't withdraw the amount she needed because they said that she has the wrong card, despite me and her is on a joint business account. When asked how much can we withdraw at the machines the woman behind the counter said 250,, so she went to the machine as she naturally have the pin and didn't want to completely wasted the visit. Turns out the limit is 500, so clearly the staff arn't trained at all.
After this experience, I'm leaving Natwest, and going with Monzo, a bank who truly cares about their clients. Yes I know money withdraw might be an issue, but I'll just open a Barclays who has a limit of 2000 at the machine.

One of the most pathetic banks in the area. They are not hiring staff for behind the counter and every time i come here I have to wait for atleast 45 mins for my turn to come. Also the staff is very unprofessional. The guy responsible for managing the que outside had a very bad body language he was literally chewing a gum while asking customer what they were there for. Definitely changing my bank.

Last week I arrived at Natwest 40 minutes before closing time and was in the queue to deposit my cash. As soon as everyone was seen to, I was told I can deposit my cash in the machine and someone would be out to help me. I was the last customer in the queue and the female cashier could've easily seen to me. There was still 30 minutes til closing so I was a little confused as to why I couldn't deposit cash. I went to the machines and they were both faulty. Nobody came out to assist me so luckily I went across the road to nationwide where I also have an account. I deposited my money quickly and efficiently. Also nationwide don't shut their cashiers half an hour early like this waste branch of Natwest. It should be closed down in my opinion. Awful awful customer service. I would've given 0 stars if it was possible

The most unprofessional and rude staff I've ever come across. You get a feeling that they really don't want to be working in the branch. I got to the branch well before closing time but was told that I couldn't deposit my money as the counters were now closed. Avoid.
