Nice friendly staff

The staff are wonderful! Really helped me out when I had my account frozen and even stayed behind after hours to help me with it all. Can't reccommend the lovely ladies enough!

Hull, Hell and Halifax. The three H's, if you go to one then you are destined to go to the other two (de facto). Other than that a useful establishment.

Went into Cannock branch this afternoon to pay a bill that was in my mother's name and address. Handed the bill over to the lady behind the glass counter to be told I couldn't pay it because the account holder as to be present I explained the situation my mother had hurt her spine and couldn't leave the house she wasn't interested instead said she needed to do phone banking my mother is in her 80's and can not even use a smart phone she passed me to this other lady who told me I'd need to fill in a 3rd party form and get it singed by my mother no problem I'll do that, she's asked for my mother ls bank card so she could check the signature they have online she came back said they didn't have on so that form would be no good no and handed me the card back her reply was there wasn't one unless I could get a power of eternity whys in a few days! I understand this is all based around Sercurity am paying a bill in my mom's name and address from her account. Surely she should of not returned the bank card instead said my mom would have to come to branch and collect it or order a new card not hand it me back I could of been anyone so much for Sercurity in that case. Its funny as I went to the glass counter few months ago and deposited £5,000 into my mother's account account using her card and pin and wasn't questioned when I asked the lady today why that was the case she replied maybe the branch was busy that day surely Sercurity is Sercurity regardless of your busy or quiet she couldn't Answer that part I could of been money laundering using my mother's account she couldn't give me a answer. Branch run by bunch of clowns wil be looking to closing my mother's Halifax account down once she'd better and able to walk and moving her account to a bank with some compassion. Shame on you Halifax Cannock.

3.30pm closing time? How is that any use to anybody who actually works for a living? Went to pay a cheque in to be told "we're closed" by a woman in the distance yawning behind the counter. No Saturday opening hours either, useless.
