Appalling customer service in this branch. I only found out on arrival that the counter had closed at 2pm, even though the branch itself is open until 4.30pm. There were no signs in or outside the branch to say that the counter was due to close at this time. I politely asked the branch assistant why this was the case and he joked with his colleague and laughed at me without any apology. Absolutely disgraceful. Is this really the way that Barclays thinks it is appropriate to treat its customers?

Whilst in London, I called in to the bank to use the card machine as I was struggling with my visa card. I was delighted when Gabrielle rushed to my aid and helped me, which ended up changing my trip because I was able to access my money!! Gabrielle and the other chap that was with him on Thursday morning were fabulous. Amazing assets to your bank. Thank you (the crazy yorkshire woman)

Very helpful, it is busy in there, but they were kind and professional. All banks have cut down their services, so they all make you wait, but the people I dealt with there were great, and it was really appreciated.

I went to the branch to deposit a cheque (I was having issues with the app) and the chap that was around assisting customers in the queue was absolutely kind and helpful, it took less than a couple of minutes.

Wanted to withdraw 100 USD from my Barclays USD account. They refused to let me withdraw from my USD account unless I pre order and then come back the following day. I explained I am leaving the country today, so that's not possible. They said they could give me 100 USD if I withdraw it from my Sterling account, at a terrible exchange rate! So they have USD on site but won't let me withdraw from my own account. I've banked with Barclays for over 20 years. This is a very poor way to treat a customer.

A reflection of the banks we have been left with- it feels like this branch opens for less hours every week.
It feels as if the customers are an inconvenience for the banking system.

Nothing seems to get done right. I have been waiting for a mandate change for over 2 months due to staff making a mistake with an identification form. Poor communication. Queuing system non-existent people jumping the queue.

I was incredibly disappointed to find out that Barclays is the biggest source of funding for fossil fuels in Europe including in fossil fuels companies who primarily focus on drilling in the Arctic and the deep sea!
