Super service for business banking from John Baldwin. He’s an asset to the bank. He always finds real world solutions and is great to deal with.

Went to pay in some coins (not even that many!) expecting to find a coin deposit machine as Google said there was one here. Well there wasn't so had to pay them in at the cashier - she was extremely unhelpful/rude and I'm a long-standing customer. She acted as if it was the most work she had ever been asked to do even though the whole thing only took 2 minutes! She talked to me like I'm a naughty child; said I had to separate the coins into their own denominations whereas I had followed the instructions on the front of the money bags e.g. 50p with 20p in one bag, 10p with 5p in another bag. How was I supposed to know they had to be totally separate? It's not like I often pay in coins and there's nothing on the website to tell you to do that. Also I was obviously expecting to use a coin deposit machine so she was lucky that they were separated at all! Another thing - why isn't there a coin deposit machine here? There's every other kind of machine in the banking hall. Anyway I've experienced unhelpful/abrupt attitudes with HSBC cashiers before so I think they need to be sent on refresher customer service courses. I've worked in retail on and off for years and would never treat a customer that way.

One of the most awful experiences with one of their members of staff. My husband requested her help for a business correspondence address change. Besides the fact she was continuously looking distracted she rushed him asking him to write down all his business details on a piece of paper and to supposedly leave it there for a ulterior use. How can this be happening? How about security and safety of the data and GDPR compliance?!? I’m appalled by the way she handled the case.

Shocking customer service I'm standing middle off the bank over 10 min !!!! no one member off staff noticed me two lady joking around joke joke joke also it's shockingly DIRTY

I wanted to speak to the Walton Branch. I called phone number on the website and have so far waited 25 minutes for call centre to answer the telephone. HSBC - Do you not like your customers???? Completely ridiculous!!
