After this ridiculous experience I then went to the door to leave (which was locked) "one minute please" - to which I then stood for one minute and the member of staff continue to chat in the booth that he was sat in with a customer. I then said that I need to leave (and clearly so did the other three customers that were waiting). He didn't say anything and reluctantly walked to the door to open it. I'll never visit this branch again. Poorly trained and lazy staff that behave as though they are doing you a favour and, quite obviously will do anything to get out of doing their jobs. They could do with taking notes from the staff in the square mile.
The only reason even continued my application was because of Debbie, the only one who got straight to the point and did not waste my time.
Upon calling them they gave a flimsy excuse, which I'm not buying. I was told to re-apply again and start all over.
Same thing goes for a friend who they reduced his limit drastically, no reason was given.
I don't know the guy's name I should say thank you.
Mr. Dushyant Purohit have been so helpful, friendly
and so professional advise prompted reaction to my problems. He is strickly to the company's rules and fair treated to every one.
He has been explained the rules to customer with
kindness during the pandemic chaos. I am deeply
appreciated his excellent service and kindness.
I saw some reviews complaiming the staffs.
This is so unfair for the harding working staffs there.
The branch so small and limited the area and staffs
as well. So the que is massive and
many people waiting for served. As I said
Woolwich is a old town living with lot of older
people. They are perfer dealing with banker directly.
So I hope the top management have to look upon
this issue. Bussiness is business but still have to consider the needs for the community.
Especially HSBC nowaday getting a bit down turn
since they were change the direction.
Yes company needs profit to keep it going and please
the shareholder. But still to need to care about their
staffs and the community needs.
.
Twice and they couldn't solve my request. I have visited two other branches of HSBC in London and they were much better. This branch doesn't even have a siting area. In both of my visits to this branch I queued for more than half an hour and once my number came it was disappointing. HSBC UK should close this useless branch.
