Computer says no, kept waiting for ages trying to book an appointment to open account with this bank. Quiet glazed stares from cashiers; I walked out.

Always had really good service here, so cant really understand the other reviews

I have been using this bank for over 20 years personally and professionally, they are friendly, helpful team and I would never use anyone else.

Update September 2022:
Branch now closed. You can use the post office instead who are super helpful every time.

Miserable staff working in outdated and depressing surroundings. Awful branch

This one star review is in no way a reflection on the staff at this branch but did you know that Barclays Bank is investing their customers' savings and pension funds in fossil fuels extraction globally? Fossil fuel extraction that is fuelling the climate crisis! I have decided to move to a much more ethical and transparent bank.
