The Co-operative Bank - Preston

No more Saturday opening hours? Because hey, why shouldn't people have to take time off work just to pay in a cheque?

I always find the staff really helpful whenever I call. Co Op bank has excellent customer service compared to others I have used in the past. It's also great speaking to staff based in the UK when I call. Many companies in the UK use contact centres abroad and I struggle to understand their accent, I find this frustrating. Great to see Co Op providing jobs in the UK! I would recommend Co Op bank to friends and family.

Went into the preston branch just now and they refused to change £10 into change because I didn't have an account with them. Certainly won't open an an account with them in the future. Dreadful customer service. All o wanted was a bit of change. Your a bank for goodness sake

opening hours are rubbish not open weekends? and close at 5pm weekdays? also my local branch closed down so can't get there now absolute rubbish

I created an account put in a few thousand and then received a letter saying i was overdrawn!

They said it was an error and my money was there, which is fine but now i have an unrequested overdraft on my credit record. They never explained how this mistake happened and tried to cover it up!

I complained to a manager but they ignored my letter and never wrote back!

Needless to say i left!

Why you not open on a Saturday? I do not get answers from my emails, it seems this banks customer service is awful no one there to help.. Co op is about its members it is supposed to be a people business not a carless don't give a dam money business, I thought you would be different from the others but sadly your all seem tarred with the same brush these days. Very frustrating there is room in the industry now for something new what people want and it is not you ☹️

Diabolical customer service. Very restricted and old fashioned opening hours. Really needs to respect customers and get itself into the 20th century, the 21st century may take considerably longer.

Waited 45 minutes to discuss an issue with someone who couldn't understand basic terms and then blocked an account
