Barclays Bank

Walked in today without an appointment and Wendy on the counter went above and beyond..... my son was her last customer before 2pm and it was a complex one, she never rushed us or made us feel unwelcome..... after counters closed Wendy spent over 40mins on hold on the phone to deal with my son's problem, all the while helping other customers who had walked into the bank to help them access the various computers.... I would have preferred an opportunity to praise her through Barclays but it seems it only has a report a complaint not an option to recognise outstanding customer service. Thank you again.

Quality Service just the Ques are really long and there’s not enough staff on at a time to make the service more efficiently effective for customers time. You will be waiting around 10 mins standing up for a cash deposit machine or 25 mins to talk to someone at a desk. I wouldn’t skip leg day if I was you lol besides that it’s a lovely place.

Avoid at all cost, tried to change my name, wait in the queue for the counter to be told I need to sit in the seats near the door where someone at a table will help me! 11:50 now 12:20 WALKED OUT!!
Whitby is a better Barclay’s branch unfortunately I didn’t have my marriage certificate at that time or the person on the counter would have done it there and then!
Awful customer service skills, might as well close the place down it’s that horrendous!
NatWest across the road was so much better, lovely staff nice quick process!

Absolutely rubbish. Wheres the service gone? I was unable to transfer a sum of money and was only able to do this in a branch. But with counters closed and five people waiting around and only one member of staff messing about behind the counter, but not actually serving anybody.

I've been a customer for 30+ years but I've had enough, and off to Handelsbanken where they still care about their valuable customers (and yes I do meet the requirements).

I m using this branch for my business long years very happy with the branch staff they are helpful even they got second counter now it s quicker and you can even do lots of banking on machine they have thanks to branch staff

Terrible service. Like all banks massively understaffed and unhelpful.
If this was a retail establishment it would be closed by now

The WORST experience I ever had! Can't change coins on Saturday. Might as well close on Saturday. Weekdays 10-2 (FYI these are the time that you can change coins that they will have people in on the counter). Their opening hours are already pretty horrendous and with this kind of service. I mean, might as well just don't open.

Absolute rubbish.
Customer service non existent, one member of staff behind the counter at any time, while at least two more stand around doing very little...

It's about time this excuse of a bank put the customer first instead of cutting costs and trying to force customers to go on line...
