Absolutely Amazing night in here . One of the best meals we have ever had. The peri peri chicken was wonderful as were the clams ,the Chef and staff looked after us better than anywhere we have been the chef made us up a little pot of hot sauce to complete the meal ,lovely background music playing. I can't recommend this place enough. an hour after we left as we were walking back to our camper the chef shouted us in for a complementary liquor.

Good fresh food, generous portions ad very good value for money. We were served by Catherine who was friendly and helpful. We saw a photo of a burning sausage which we wanted to try and although it wasn't on the menu, we could have it. Our food arrived at table in a good time and it was served by the chef himself. Great experience.

Great place and atmosphere, the chef Fernando worth the trip by himself, great service too, delicious food at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

After a long hike around Pen y Fan area we needed refuelling and boy was this the trick! We booked a table by text message and were greeted by the lovely owners. We asked for a king prawn starter and were treated to an enormous feast that was delicious. For main we had peri chicken and then washed down with a pastel de nata and grapes. It’s cash only, but for what we had in terms of quantity and quality, it was great value. If you’re in the area and hungry, this is the place to go.

There weren't many options in Merthyr Tydfil on a Thursday night, and we came based on high rating on Google. It seemed busy when we got there at 6.30pm, 2 large groups were served drinks and waiting for food. We ordered the mixed grill skewer "espetada" as it was the recommendation and a bacalhau à brás. After getting our drinks, we were served some complimentary olives and it would another hour before our dinner arrived. The staff were apologetic and recommended the grilled chouriço as we waited for the main course. The chef was very friendly snd served the starter himself and it was a great distraction from the long wait. The skewer finally arrived after an eternity. The meat despite well seasoned was bone dry and too hard to chew so we couldn't finish it. The bacalhau was a bit better. Food was quite a let down, we expected a lot more from the google rating.
